Futuromania - the paperback

The paperback edition of Futuromania has just come out

Older eyes will recognise the graphic design's nod to this best-seller of the 1970s

An earlier post about Future Shock and the Orson Welles presented TV program based on it.

  1. I don't have to feel obliged to buy this as well, do I? Are you signing these? Is Shaun Ryder? Is Bez?

    1. Good lord no. The paperback is for those who don't like to pay hardback prices.

  2. Oh, completely unrelated, two of the lads oft put on Siouxsie and the Banshees' version of Dear Prudence. In the pub, it sounded wonderful, but watching the video at home, I was so bored, to the extent that I entertained myself by typing this. Isn't the Beatles' version weirder?

    1. I'm not crazy about either version to be honest. It's all right. Not a huge fan of the White Album.

Seemed like a weak thing for the Banshees to do at the point they did it - and always a little humiliating for a band when their biggest hit is someone else's song.
