Around this time, Sounds actually had a Futurists Chart in their charts page. Initially it was compiled by Stevo of Some Bizzare fame, a deejay and coiner of the term Futurists (for a while, a rival to New Romantics) but increasingly various other deejays and club promoters submitted the chart.

Some great tunes in those charts. It's quite funny that guitar-playing neo-psychedelicists the Banshees and the Bunnymen both counted as "Futurists".
